I'm a Senior UX/UI designer who grew up in Havana, learned to feel at home in new places, and somewhere along the way realized that designing for people is really just paying close attention to them. What I love most is the messy middle of a project; the tangle of opinions, constraints, and half-formed ideas, and the quiet satisfaction of turning all of it into something that finally feels obvious. Right now I'm a little obsessed with design systems: the way a handful of good rules can make everything downstream calmer. I work in Spanish, English, and enough German to get into trouble, and I think the best design choices usually come from noticing the small things other people walk past. Off the clock you'll find me traveling somewhere new, taking long walks with my dog Fox, or drawing at (@mimo_draws).
